Man its been a week already! I cant get over how fast time flies by! What have we been up to lately...
Last Monday the girls made St. patricks day cookies for CG's preschool and some for home. They had a great time, and of course loved snacking when they were done.
Last Tues the 17th CG had her Spring program and art show at school. She is so artistic! She loves writing, drawing, and coloring. And i must say she is pretty good at it too! (pic. to come soon)
Friday she finally got to have her first real ball practice. After several cancellations due to yucky rain, and cold temperatures! She had so much fun! I think she really is going to LOVE playing this year!
Sat was the fashion show. The girls enjoy getting "model" for one of our favorite stores- OUAC!
Sunday was Church and CF's 1st dr. appt. She hasn't been breathing well lately, and coughing A LOT! So i took her in on Sunday. She was very very weezy and her Pulse Ox was down (upper 80's low 90's when not moving at all for a period of time). He did a breathing treatment and rexaimed her and there was no change. The dr was going to put her in the hospital but decided to out her on some steriods and for her to be seen today.
We went in this afternoon to see her Dr. who agreed with the Dr. from yesterday. She O2 Stats were a little better today (92-94%). Today she had blood work and x-rays done. Come to find out CF has Pneumnia in her right lung. Her Dr said she was going to try everything she could to keep her out of the hospital. And she commented on how this would not be an easy task knowing that CF likes to get something and hold onto it for a long period of time. So she gave her an antibotic shot, Oral antibotics, steriod and will see her back in 3 days unless she gets worse or doesnt get better. She said this is the most she can do to keep her out of the hospital and that she would hope and pray this works. Im not worried! I trust her Dr. and CF acts fine. She sounds awful b/c she is struggling to breath but i think these things will pull her thru! I guess that is about it with us.
CG has ball practice again tonight and she is very excited. Oh and she has moved to Gymnastics on Wend. :-D Hope all is well with everyone! And hope everyone is enjoying this spring weather!
