April Showers....

Bring May flowers! Oh man how we should have some BEAUTIFUL Flowers here in the month of May. We have had so much rain! Im ready for the 70 degree APRIL weather! These past 2 days have been so nice out then rain again today... Anyways on with my real post. And of course its WAY behind as usual! I have LOTS of pictures for this post so if you dont want to read in then hopefully you have a min to glace over our photos and enjoy!

Its seems like a lot has happened since last time i posted.

CG got to bring home Patty Panda from preschool for one last time! She loves Patty and thinks its so cool that all the kids to get to bring home home for a visit!

My Hubby had a Birthday at the beginning of April. We went to one of our Fav. restaurants for dinner with his family.



As many of you know, Friday April 10 2009, Good Friday was a rough day for our town. We had 3 tornado's touch down and destroy a good bit of our town. The tornado that did the most damage, took Two people lives, a lady and her 9 week old baby. The tornado was estimated to be on the ground for more than 20 minutes with winds exceeding 150 miles an hour. and traveled more than 23 miles from touch down to where it stopped! Over 47 people were hurt in the tornado, over 800 homes and businesses were destroyed, have major damage or have minor damage. This effected out town in a big way as im sure you can imagine. I am proud to say that i am apart of this community. Tons of people volunteered to help w/ clean up and services. The hubby and i worked on in it all day Friday and Sat. It is such a sad sad situation but i can see that God is going to be Glorified in BIG ways through this!

Easter was wonderful even tho the Tornado had riped through our town just 2 days before! CG had a party at Preschool, we went to church, we went to my grandparents houes for Lunch and an egg hunt then to the inlaws.

Cg had a preschool field trip to Wilderness Station on Thurs. She loved it! They got to learn about reptiles, and insects, they went on a hike and played at the park.

Friday was her first baseball game, and Saturday was her 2nd baseball game. She LOVES it! She is one of the youngest on the team but she really thinks she is big stuff. CF enjoys the ball park too. She is outside, and getting to eat ballpark food... I dont know where she gets the love for the ball field from ;-)








Last night we went to the Skillet concert (Christian band) and dinner with some of our best friends to celebrate My hubby's birthday. We had a lot of fun.
